Without counsel plans fail but with many advisors they succeed. [Proverbs 15:22] For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. [II Timothy 1:6-7]
What is a mentorship?
The ¿Û¿ÛÄÛ±Æ Alumni Mentor Program establishes meaningful, personal, and professional coaching relationships between current ¿Û¿ÛÄÛ±Æ students and alumni.
How does the mentorship work?
The ¿Û¿ÛÄÛ±Æ Alumni Relations and the Center for Academic Advising and Career Engagement (CAACE); in partnership with the academic schools, are proud to co-sponsor the ¿Û¿ÛÄÛ±Æ Alumni Mentor Program for current ¿Û¿ÛÄÛ±Æ students at every level of study and any major. Student mentees select alumni mentors who are carefully chosen for their belief in the ¿Û¿ÛÄÛ±Æ mission, expertise in their industry, and commitment to vocation. Students and Alumni commit to a single, one-hour conversation, virtual, by phone, or in person when possible. Students may develop the relationship, if they choose or seek out new alumni matches. The Academic Schools, the CAACE and the Office of Alumni Relations work together as a team to provide the best experience for students and alumni involved in this program.
